KLM doubles sustainable fuel surcharge to cover cost of more SAF


The Dutch carrier in January 2022 added a surcharge of between €1 and €12 ($1.09-$13.09), depending on distance flown and cabin class, to tickets from Amsterdam, to help fund the use of a 0.5% SAF blend on all Schiphol-departing flights. 



Armed Overwatch special-ops turboprop enters low-rate production

The head of acquisitions at US Special Operations Command say the low-altitude, close-air-support Sky Warden turboprop being built by L3Harris and Air Tractor is now in first-run low-rate initial production, after being selected for the Armed Overwatch programme in 2022.

Search Suspended for Survivors of Downed Learjet
