The campaign will reach a crescendo in May of 2027, the 100th anniversary of Charles Lindbergh's New York to Paris flight.

This note presents the results of the Research Assessment of Transitory Helicopter Downwash (RATHD) project. RATHD was carried out by the Flight Operations department of the United Kingdom Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) in 2024.
RATHD had two objectives. A. Expanding knowledge of downwash and outwash at helicopter operating sites. B. Verification and Validation (V&V) of downwash simulations of eVTOL aircraft, called for in CAP2576.
