New Study Shows Strong Public Supports For Use Of Unmanned Aircraft: Nearly 90 Percent Say Aircraft Should Be Used For SAR Operations, 63 Percent Approve Of Law Enforcement Use An overwhelming majority of Americans support the use of unmanned aircraft for homeland security, search and rescue, and fighting crime, according to a new poll conducted by Institute for Homeland Security Solutions and RTI International.
