El aeropuerto de Badajoz crece la mano de Helitt
la compañía Helitt ofrece desde la región. Según datos oficiales de Aena en junio de 2012
pasaron por el aeródromo de Talavera la Real un total de 6.816 pasajeros en 233 operaciones,
lo que supone un incremento del 42,5% respecto al mismo mes del pasado 2011. Con estos
datos de junio el pacense se convierte en el aeropuerto de la red Aena con vuelos regulares
que más crece porcentualmente. Buena parte de culpa de este espectacular crecimiento la
tiene Helitt Líneas Aéreas ya que 8 de cada 10 pasajeros que volaron desde Badajoz eligieron la
compañía malagueña.
Los destinos que Helitt ofrece desde Extremadura son Barcelona, Madrid, Málaga
y Mallorca. Es precisamente Palma la ruta que más ha crecido en cifras de ocupación en el
último mes con un aumento del 29%, manteniéndose los vuelos a la ciudad condal como los
más utilizados por los extremeños.
A espera de que las Administraciones autoricen el transporte de carga desde el
aeropuerto de Badajoz, Helitt sigue apostando por éste para que continúe afianzándose como
una opción viable y de confianza para la movilidad de extremeños y visitantes.
19 medidas urgentes para salvar la Aviación General en España
Aopa Spain (Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association) ha hecho públicas un paquete de diecinueve medidas urgentes para salvar la Aviación General en España que según asegura podrían implementarse de inmediato sin grandes costes de inversión pública.
Las 19 medidas fueron presentadas en las I Jornadas de Trabajo del Sector Aéreo realizadas en la Secretaría General de Transporte, Dirección General de Aviación Civil entre el 25 y el 29 de junio de 2012.

Boeing Projects Exponential Growth in Demand for Airline Pilots
- Maintenance technicians also required in high numbers over next 20 years

Today at the Farnborough International Airshow, Boeing released the 2012 Pilot and Technician Outlook -- a respected industry forecast of aviation personnel. FARNBOROUGH, United Kingdom, July 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Boeing [NYSE: BA] projects the world will face an unprecedented demand for airline pilots and maintenance technicians over the next 20 years as global economies expand and airlines take delivery of tens of thousands of new commercial airplanes.
The Boeing outlook indicates that by 2031 the world will require:
- 460,000 new commercial airline pilots
- 601,000 new commercial airline maintenance technicians
"In many regions of the world, our customers are facing challenges in recruiting personnel due to pilot and technician shortages," said Sherry Carbary, vice president, Boeing Flight Services. "Boeing is committed to developing innovative solutions that address this critical need by leveraging our knowledge, expertise and experienced global team to give our customers and the industry the training advantage they need to succeed."
While overall demand for aviation personnel remains strong, the projected need for technicians has decreased from last year, due in part to improving airplane technology and maintenance efficiencies as well as older airplanes being retired sooner than average due to higher fuel prices. The result is better than expected reliability and longer maintenance check intervals. Demand for maintenance personnel, however, is still expected to grow in proportion to the expanding global fleet.
Projected demand by region:
- Asia Pacific – 185,600 pilots and 243,500 technicians
- Europe – 100,900 pilots and 129,700 technicians
- North America – 69,000 pilots and 92,500 technicians
- Middle East – 36,100 pilots and 53,700 technicians
- Latin America – 42,000 pilots and 47,300 technicians
- Africa – 14,500 pilots and 16,200 technicians
- Russia and CIS – 11,900 pilots and 18,100 technicians
"Meeting this exponential demand requires increased reliance on new, digital technology such as online and mobile computing," said Carbary. Airbus Military begins final assembly of the first A400M for Turkey
The Airbus Military A400M final assembly line (FAL) in Seville (Spain) has begun working on the first A400M for the Turkish Air Force. The integration of the wings and central wing-box for this aircraft, known as MSN9, began in mid-May while the integration of the nose and the fuselage started by the end of June. With the arrival of the vertical tailplane (VTP) and the horizontal tailplane (HTP) yesterday all the components for this third serial production A400Mare already being integrated in the FAL.
Turkey will take delivery of its first A400M military airlifter in 2013.

Airbus Military C295 certified for civic operations
Airbus Military has obtained civil certification for the C295 transport in a move whichresponds to the evolving requirements of agencies and operators conducting humanitarian and other “civic” operations.
The new certification, awarded by Spain´s civil aviation authority AESA (Agencia Estatal de Seguridad Aérea), confirms the C295´s compliance with the enhanced regulatory environment in this sector of the market.
It underlines the aircraft´s suitability to address the growing market for emergency and humanitarian missions for international aid organisations, peacekeeping operations carried out by civil operators, and security operations by police forces and similar agencies.
The operations and configurations approved under this certification include personnel transport with side-facing seats for up to 70 occupants or “airline-style” seats for up to 51 occupants, medical evacuation with up to 21 NATO litters, mixed transport of personnel and cargo, carriage of up to eight cargo pallets, cargo aerial delivery, and operations on unpaved runways.
Additionally this new approval can be applied to aircraft delivered to governments and military customers that require type certification in accordance with civil airworthiness requirements.
“This certification has been successfully achieved after a great effort by both industry and regulatory specialists and certification teams,” said Isabel Maestre, AESA Director.
Airbus Military SVP Head of Engineering Miguel Angel Morell said: “The C295 has been designed from the outset as an exceptionally robust and reliable aircraft which is highly suitable for demanding “civic” operations for the benefit of society. Obtaining civil certification ensures its acceptability to all agencies operating in this area and cements its leadership in the sector.”

Airbus Military C295 carries Marte Mk2/S anti-ship missile
This initiative successfully aligns with the defence industry strategy shared by MBDA in Spain and Airbus Military.
The MBDA Marte MK2/S missile is a fire-and-forget, all-weather, medium-range sea-skimming anti-ship weapon system, equipped with inertial mid-course guidance and radar homing terminal guidance, and capable of destroying small vessels and heavily damaging major vessels. The missile has a weight of 310 Kg and is 3.85 m long.

In the anti-submarine warfare (ASW) role, the C295 is already in-service carrying the MK46 torpedo.
The Marte Mk2/S is already integrated on the AW-101 and the NFH-90 naval helicopters.
