Long-Term Contract Now Extends To July 2022 Members of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers District 837 have approved a long-term contract extension intended to better position Boeing to compete for work that’s critical to its St. Louis site's future. The company's contract with the more than 2,300 represented workers now expires in July, 2022. It was to have expired in January, 2015.

Qatar Airways ha anunciado el lanzamiento de un nuevo vuelo diario exclusivo para Clase Business, que cubrirá la ruta entre el centro de Distribución de tráfico (hub) de la aerolínea en Doha y Londres/Heathrow. El nuevo servicio comenzará el 15 de mayo de 2014 y supondrá el primer servicio de este tipo en Oriente Medio, operado con Airbus A319 configurado con 40 asientos distribuidos en filas de cuatro. La compañía de Catar opera actualmente cinco enlaces diarios en esa ruta y la incorporación de este sexto marca el inicio de una nueva era para los pasajeros del Reino Unido. Los pasajeros podrán disfrutar tanto de la salas VIP de esta aerolínea en la Terminal 4 de Heathrow, como en Doha. Los nuevos asientos disponen de la opción de convertirse en una cama totalmente plana y cuentan con el sistema de entretenimiento “Oryx”, que ofrece más de 900 opciones multimedia, como películas, televisión, videojuegos y música.
