Full Operations Resumed Saturday NASA's Mars rover Curiosity resumed full science operations on Saturday, Nov. 23. Activities over the weekend included use of Curiosity's robotic arm to deliver portions of powdered rock to a laboratory inside the rover. The powder has been stored in the arm since the rover collected it by drilling into the target rock "Cumberland" six months ago. Several portions of the powder have already been analyzed.

De acuerdo con la última Previsión Global del Mercado (GMF), el mercado del transporte aéreo brasileño requerirá 1.324 aviones de aquí al año 2032 para atender las crecientes necesidades de vuelos internos e internacionales del país. Se prevé que harán falta 896 aviones de pasillo único, 353 de doble pasillo y 75 aviones de gran tamaño (VLA) para poder responder a la creciente demanda de compañías aéreas nacionales y extranjeras en Brasil, triplicando casi la flota en servicio actual de 480 aviones hasta más de 1.320 de aquí a 2032.

La Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena y la empresa pública Navantia han firmado hoy un acuerdo de colaboración por el cual investigarán juntos sobre nuevos materiales para la construcción de submarinos. El convenio incluye también actividades de formación y prácticas para los alumnos.

La Universidad Politécnica de Cartagena (UPCT) y la empresa pública de construcción naval Navantia han firmado hoy un acuerdo de colaboración por el cual investigarán juntos sobre nuevos materiales, como el grafeno, para la construcción de submarinos.

Además de actividades de I+D+i, informa la nota de prensa de la universidad, el convenio incluye becas, prácticas para los alumnos, actos conjuntos, y actividades formativas.

La UPCT y Navantia, integrados ambos en el Campus Mare Nostrum (campus de excelencia internacional de la UPCT y la Universidad de Murcia), mantienen una estrecha colaboración tanto en temas de investigación como de formación.

The unique remains of a First World War Handley Page O/400 bomber aircraft have been saved by a team from the RAF Museum.Members of the Michael Beetham Conservation Centre at the RAF Museum Cosford, have succeeded in rescuing a number of wing sections from a 95 year old bi-plane bomber which had been used to support a garage roof in Connah's Quay, Flintshire. The 25 foot long wooden wing sections included four examples of the lower starboard wing and one lower port wing.
