Iberia sigue trabajando para reactivar los viajes de negocios y, con este objetivo, en la nueva temporada de invierno volverá a darle otro impulso a su servicio de Puente Aéreo entre Madrid y Barcelona.

En concreto, a partir del mes de noviembre y durante toda la temporada de invierno que llega hasta el 31 de marzo, Iberia ofrecerá entre 65 y 68 frecuencias semanales en esta ruta, lo que supone hasta 11 vuelos por sentido de lunes a jueves, que son los días de mayor afluencia de clientes.

De esta forma, los clientes contarán con vuelos en ambos sentidos desde las 07:00 de la mañana y hasta las 21:00 horas, que les permitirán aprovechar al máximo la jornada en las dos ciudades, y también beneficiarse de las conexiones más eficientes a quienes utilicen los vuelos entre Madrid y Barcelona para continuar a otros destinos.

El nuevo programa de Iberia en el Puente Aéreo supone cerca de un 50 por ciento más de capacidad que la ofrecida por Iberia en el invierno de 2020, cuando la compañía programó 43 frecuencias semanales. Este incremento da medida de la gran apuesta que está haciendo Iberia por este servicio, que es la ruta por excelencia del tráfico corporativo en España.



“Llegar y volar” o cambiar

Con este nuevo impulso al Puente Aéreo, Iberia recupera plenamente para sus clientes la filosofía “llegar y volar” que siempre ha caracterizado a este servicio.

A partir del 10 de noviembre Aena reabrirá en el aeropuerto de El Prat los mostradores, el control de seguridad y la sala VIP próximos a las puertas de embarque que Iberia utiliza para el Puente Aéreo, lo que permitirá a los clientes presentarse hasta 20 minutos antes de la salida de su vuelo, y beneficiarse de la ventaja de “llegar y volar” de este servicio.

En Madrid, los mostradores y el control de seguridad del Puente Aéreo en el lado Norte de la Terminal 4 ya están abiertos desde finales de 2020 pero, ahora, además, Iberia ha ampliado el horario de su Premium Lounge Dalí, de 06:00 a las 23:00 horas y, a partir del 18 de octubre, Aena recupera su servicio de parking VIP en el aeropuerto de Madrid.

Además, los clientes del Puente Aéreo de Iberia tienen total flexibilidad para cambiar su vuelo desde la App de Iberia, las veces que sea necesario y sin ningún coste.

CYPRESS, California - (20 de octubre de 2021) – El mundo se prepara para la pospandemia, una fase en la que la reducción de patógenos y de circulación del virus será decisiva, y la empresa global de tecnología audiovisual Christie anuncia la fabricación masiva de la línea de productos Christie® CounterAct™ para la desinfección comercial mediante radiación ultravioleta. Los nuevos productos incorporan Care222®, una tecnología patentada de radiación ultravioleta lejana (far-UVC) que permite su uso en espacios interiores ocupados por personas, desde salas de cine, parques temáticos, museos o complejos deportivos, a comercios, hoteles y restaurantes, pero también en zonas de gran afluencia, como aeropuertos y estaciones de ferrocarril o metro.

Desarrollada por Christie, la línea de productos CounterAct utiliza Care222nm, una tecnología de lámpara ultravioleta patentada por Ushio Inc., empresa matriz de Christie, que la adquirió bajo licencia de la Universidad de Columbia. Diseñadas para montarse en techos altos, las luminarias CounterAct son tan sencillas de instalar como cualquier otra lámpara y fáciles de gestionar.

Christie CounterAct es la primera tecnología de desinfección por rayos ultravioleta de uso en lugares con presencia humana. Se vale de luz de radiación ultravioleta lejana (far-UVC) filtrada y patentada para eliminar hasta un 99% de patógenos presentes en superficies de espacios interiores, como el síndrome respiratorio agudo grave (SARS-CoV-2) —el virus causante de la COVID-19—, pero también el virus de la gripe y bacterias y superbacterias resistentes a antibióticos, dañando el ADN o el ARN del patógeno e impidiendo que se reproduzca e infecte a seres humanos.

Tras someterse a ensayos llevados a cabo en instalaciones de terceros, los modelos Christie CounterAct han demostrado que cumplen con los estándares CE, UL y UKCA de seguridad eléctrica, compatibilidad electromagéntica (EMC), seguimiento de la directiva relativa a equipos de radio y, lo más importante, seguridad fotobiológica.

El de la seguridad fotobiológica es un método diseñado para evaluar que el nivel de exposición a rayos ultravioleta de los ocupantes de un espacio cumple las directrices establecidas por el sector, un elemento crucial en las pruebas de verificación de terceros.

Avances tecnológicos que añaden seguridad y eficacia a la desinfección UV

La eficacia de la luz ultravioleta para neutralizar patógenos de manera efectiva está demostrada desde hace años. Sin embargo, la longitud de onda de 254 nanómetros empleada en otros productos de desinfección presentes en el mercado puede ser nociva para las personas, por su capacidad para atravesar la piel y el ojo humanos.

Las premiadas luminarias CounterAct contienen las lámparas patentadas Care222 de Ushio, que emiten luz far-UVC de 222 nanómetros. Un estudio realizado en 2020 por la Universidad de Kobe determina que puede emplearse de manera segura en presencia de personas. La longitud de onda 222 es precisamente la que garantiza la efectividad contra patógenos en espacios ocupados, sin perjuicio alguno para la salud humana. Pero además, Care222 es la primera tecnología far-UVC del mundo dotada de un filtro óptico patentado que es capaz de bloquear la emisión de longitudes de onda UVC potencialmente dañinas (>230nm).
