Un F-18 del Ala 46 contribuye a la resolución de una emergencia de una aeronave civil
La aeronave civil despegó del aeropuerto de Gran Canaria en torno a las 12:30 de la mañana (hora insular), cuando a la hora de recoger el tren de aterrizaje tuvo el aviso de 'fallo de tren'. Ante la gravedad de la situación, el comandante de la aeronave ascendió hasta 8000 pies, se dirigió al sur de la isla y empezó a orbitar con el objetivo de consumir combustible para aligerar peso ante la posibilidad de un aterrizaje de emergencia.

Turkey Stops Servicing Russian-Operated Boeing Aircraft
Effective from March 14th, Turkish airport facilities are banned from providing fuel and related services to Boeing jets operated by Russian airlines. The decision comes directly from the government and was announced by its Ministry of Customs and Trade. While it appears that Russian airlines will still be able to fly to and through Turkey, this has resulted in airlines deploying Airbus jets to the country instead.

Russia begins naval drills with China, Iran
Russia said Wednesday it had started naval exercises with China and Iran in the Arabian Sea as it seeks to shore up ties with Beijing and Tehran. Airbus reports share buyback transactions 6-10 March 2023
Airbus SE reports the following share buyback transactions from 6 to 10 March 2023 under Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 April 2014 on market abuse (“EU Market Abuse Regulation”).
The transactions are part of a share buyback
programme that started on 27 February 2023 for the sole purpose of
covering Airbus’ long-term incentive plan in shares. The repurchased
shares will be redistributed to the beneficiaries of long-term incentive
plans according to the relevant plan rules. The share buyback programme
is expected to be completed by 27 March 2023.
The share buyback is undertaken pursuant to the
general authority conferred on the Airbus SE Board of Directors by the
13th resolution to repurchase up to 10% of Airbus SE’s issued share
capital by the Annual General Meeting of shareholders of Airbus SE on 12
April 2022.

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — (3/14/22) — CubCrafters, in collaboration with Red Bull and
extreme sports promotor XDubai, has achieved an unprecedented milestone in aviation by
successfully landing a fixed wing Carbon Cub aircraft on the heliport of one of the world's most
iconic buildings, the Burj Al Arab hotel, in Dubai, UAE.
The Bulls Eye landing event featured Red Bull Air Race pilot and Carbon Cub owner Luke
Czepiela landing a specially modified version of CubCrafters bestselling aircraft on a 27-meter
wide helipad suspended 212 meters above sea level atop the 56-story hotel.
All big moments start with little ideas powered by imagination and the desire to create
something special,” stated Patrick Horgan, CubCrafters’ President & CEO. “Red Bull has done
many projects over the years that have inspired aviators worldwide, so we were honored to
join them on this project to demonstrate the incredible capabilities of the kinds of aircraft our

Carbon Cub was a great choice to start with, and we made it even better for this event."
