Arquimea y Airbus Helicopters llegan a un acuerdo para integrar la munición merodeadora en el NH90

Madrid, 14 de mayo. Airbus Helicopters en España, empresa referente en el sector de la defensa, especialmente en el diseño y fabricación de helicópteros, y ARQUIMEA, empresa tecnológica española con más de 20 de experiencia especializada en la fabricación de sistemas merodeadores, anuncian en FEINDEF 2025 la firma de un acuerdo de colaboración para la integración del sistema merodeador Q-SLAM-40 en el helicóptero NH90.

La integración del sistema merodeador Q-SLAM-40 en el helicóptero NH90 amplía las capacidades operativas de este modelo de helicópteros para operaciones de inteligencia, vigilancia y reconocimiento (ISR); en misiones de ataque, contra drones y e incluso la creación de enjambres para tareas complejas.

Los sistemas merodeadores inteligentes de ARQUIMEA incorporan tecnología avanzada en inteligencia artificial para mejorar la conciencia situacional, la transmisión de datos en tiempo real, y la capacidad de vuelo en enjambre. Esta solución ofrece una ventaja operativa significativa que aumenta la capacidad de respuesta de los helicópteros.

El Q-SLAM-40 tiene un alcance de 25 minutos y 25 kilómetros, y puede integrar diferentes tipos de cargas útiles en función de la misión a desarrollar. El sistema merodeador podría lanzarse directamente desde el helicóptero para poder llevar a cabo la misión en el escenario requerido, mejorando la rapidez de operación.

Luis Martín, director comercial y de programas de Airbus Helicopters en España destacó: “La integración de helicópteros y drones en el futuro campo de batalla es algo fundamental para nuestras Fuerzas Armadas. La colaboración con el Q-SLAM-40 nos permitirá ofrecer una solución que combine movilidad aérea con capacidades de ataque con dron inteligente.”

“La integración de nuestros sistemas merodeadores en helicópteros tácticos representa un avance significativo en el concepto de combate en red, permitiendo a las fuerzas desplegadas actuar con mayor autonomía, rapidez y eficacia”, señaló Manuel Martín, managing director de defensa de ARQUIMEA.

ARQUIMEA es un referente global en sistemas merodeadores, gracias a su sólida base industrial para la fabricación a gran escala y a su capacidad interna de innovación, que refuerza su autonomía tecnológica y consolida su posición de liderazgo en estos sistemas dentro del sector. Así, por ejemplo, la compañía cuenta con capacidades de fabricación de para suministrar más de 1.000 unidades al mes de su sistema merodeador inteligente Q-SLAM-40.
