Sepla lleva meses intentando engañar a la opinión pública. El sindicato de pilotos propaga información falsa acerca de Iberia de forma reiterada

Ante las reiteradas mentiras y falsedades propagadas por el Sepla en los últimos días, Iberia denuncia la actitud totalmente maliciosa del sindicato de pilotos.
Iberia asegura que con este comportamiento Sepla pretende tan sólo ocultar el verdadero problema de la compañía, que es su falta de competitividad, debida principalmente a los elevados costes del colectivo de vuelo, que llegan a duplicar a los de la competencia. En concreto, los pilotos de Iberia cobran una media de 200.000 euros al año, mientras que los de la competencia cobran 100.000 y trabajan más horas.
Hasta ahora el Sepla no ha ofrecido ni un solo dato cierto que corrobore su campaña de propaganda. Las mentiras del Sepla son burdas y fácilmente desmontables, como se demuestra a continuación:
· British Airways se está quedando con la caja de Iberia - FALSO
La caja de Iberia se ha utilizado desde 2008 hasta 2012 de la siguiente manera: 446 millones de euros a EREs (principalmente, prejubilaciones, incluyendo las del colectivo de pilotos); 394 millones de euros destinados a inversiones para nuevos aviones, entre ellos los A330 y A320, que los mismos pilotos han pedido; 334 millones de euros al pago de la deuda y 154 millones de euros a cubrir pérdidas generadas por las operaciones y circulante. Actualmente Iberia pierde al día 1,7 millones de euros, lo que contribuye a deteriorar la caja, que en la actualidad supera ligeramente los 1.000 millones de euros.
Por tanto, afirmar que British Airways, IAG o no se sabe quién se ha quedado con la caja de Iberia es falso e intencionadamente difamatorio.
· Iberia cede rutas a British Airways, que se está quedando con la T4 - FALSO
Iberia no ha traspasado ninguna ruta a British Airways. En la T4 British opera 10 vuelos al día en la ruta Madrid-Londres, frente a 700 del Grupo Iberia. La cancelación de rutas se debe única y exclusivamente a que registran pérdidas de forma reiterada. Uno de los principales motivos de las pérdidas es porque los pilotos de Iberia cobran en algunos casos casi el doble que sus rivales, trabajan menos horas (el 23% menos) y exigen llevar más pilotos en vuelos donde no es exigible legalmente y no es de ningún modo necesario. Por ejemplo, en los algo más de 12 años que Iberia voló a Johannesburgo nunca ganó dinero y en total perdió 46 millones de euros; British Airways opera de Londres a Johannesburgo desde 1920 y su oferta de asientos se ha reducido en 2012 un 11% respecto a 2010. British Airways no ha ocupado el lugar de Iberia.

British Airways ha aumentado su oferta desde su hub en Londres Heathrow por el buen comportamiento de la demanda desde y hacia Londres, mientras que la oferta de Iberia ha tenido que adaptarse al descenso de la demanda en su hub de Madrid por la crisis en España – otras compañías que operan desde Madrid han tenido que reducir su oferta igualmente. Iberia y British Airways tienen mercados diferentes, de modo que el que uno crezca en su mercado nunca puede ser en detrimento del otro. Además, Iberia tiene que reducir su oferta para eliminar frecuencias o rutas no rentables y crecerá cuando su cuenta de resultados sea positiva. Decir que British Airways crece a costa de Iberia demuestra un claro desconocimiento del sector y es totalmente falso.
La fusión perjudica a Iberia - FALSO
La fusión ha reportado a Iberia en poco más de un año y medio 101 millones de euros en sinergias, es decir, las pérdidas de Iberia serían mucho mayores de no formar parte de IAG. Además, gracias a la fusión, Iberia ha tenido acceso a unos mercados de financiación que estarían cerrados por sus resultados y por el riesgo país. Si no estuviera integrada en IAG en este momento, el futuro de Iberia sería muy sombrío y su desaparición a corto plazo sería inevitable.

Iberia lleva teniendo pérdidas operativas desde 2008. En 2009, dos años antes de la fusión, tuvo los peores resultados de su historia reciente. Antes de la fusión, Iberia ya tenía serios problemas estructurales y de competitividad, que se han agravado por la crisis económica. La situación de los mercados naturales de Iberia es mala y el mercado origen España es muy débil en estos momentos, por lo que se ha acentuado el desfase con los competidores. La compañía no puede cubrir con sus ingresos los altos costes de funcionamiento. Por esta razón, Iberia necesita de forma urgente un plan de transformación total. British Airways, tuvo pérdidas en dos ejercicios – de marzo de 2008 a marzo de 2010 -, y volvió a registrar beneficios gracias a un plan de reestructuración que incluyó la reducción de tamaño y plantilla, congelación salarial y aumento de productividad; su plantilla ha pasado de 60.000 empleados a 36.000 en diez años, de 2001 a 2010; en ese mismo periodo la plantilla de Iberia ha pasado de 26.000 a 21.500 empleados

Esto es absolutamente falso. No existe ninguna cláusula en este sentido tal y como se acredita en el documento público de registro de la Fusión. El control de IAG lo tienen sus accionistas, que lo son del holding. Por lo tanto, el que toma las decisiones es el Consejo de Administración, compuesto desde el inicio de la fusión por 14 miembros, la mitad propuesta por Iberia y la otra mitad por British Airways. Por eso se trata de una fusión entre iguales. El Consejo de Administración está formado actualmente por seis españoles, tres británicos, dos estadounidenses, un irlandés, un francés y una neozelandesa.

La única decisión relevante de adquisición de flota que se ha tomado en IAG tras la fusión ha sido la compra de 16 Airbus A330, de ellos, ocho en firme que Iberia recibirá a partir de enero de 2013 y 8 opciones adicionales. Estos aviones incorporarán el nuevo producto de largo radio para sus cabinas Turista y Business. British Airways aprobó la renovación de su flota hace cinco años, es decir, antes de la fusión.

Buenos días, D. Antonio:
A principios de febrero de 2011, le mandé una carta de despedida, entregada en mano a su secretaria, anunciándole mi salida de Iberia, mediante un ERE forzoso (fuimos 10 las prescindibles) y deseándole mucho éxito en la Dirección de Iberia. Usted no tuvo la deferencia ¿educación? de responder a mi amable carta.
Pero estos deseos de éxito no se referían al suyo personal y al de su Consejero. Yo me refería al de la gran Empresa que es Iberia, cuyo mayor activo es el personal, desde Tierra a Vuelo, porque me he relacionado con todos ellos durante 35 años y de los que he recibido mucho cariño y muchos favores personales. Como dicen ahora, "había buen rollo" entre nosotros.
Usted y su Consejero, a través del Director de DESINFORMACIÓN, Luís Díaz Güell, han intentado desprestigiar a profesionales, pero de los de verdad, no como los que parece que ustedes tratan. Han "asaltado" la sede de Iberia en Velázquez, cual Tejero el Congreso, pero esta vez sin tricornios ni pistolas, para dejar a unos trabajadores sin derechos a nada, solo al silencio. Han creado un "desconfor" a todos ellos, un mal ambiente, un NO dormir, que va a pasarles factura. Estos profesionales tienen familias, lo más importante que se puede tener en esta vida, aunque usted no lo valore.
Ya les anuncio, NO lo van a conseguir!!!. Vayan preparando las maletas!!!. Seguramente se van manteniendo sus extraordinarias condiciones, ¡¡ Que suerte ¡!, espero que no las puedan disfrutar. Espero que todo el daño que están causando a los trabajadores, a sus familias, al PIB español, a la imagen de España les pase factura. Espero que terminen como los Directivos de Caixa Galicia.
Nos hemos tenido que "colar" en la prensa Digital para denunciar sus abusos, su dictadura del silencio informativo. Algunos hemos escrito directamente al Presidente del Gobierno y a su Ministra Ana Pastor, gracias a Dios, parece que nos están escuchando. Aquí nadie ignora ya cual es su manera de gestionar.
Usted ha podido silenciar comprando periódicos, pagando anuncios. Pero la VERDAD es muy tozuda, y aunque tenga que ir por caminos empedrados, y los pies acaben con ampollas, se llega, ¡¡ ya lo creo que se llega!! Y sino, se lo pregunta a los peregrinos que van a Santiago de Compostela.
Por cierto y mejor es que lo tenga en cuenta: lo bueno que sale de ti….vuelve a ti, pero lo malo, lo malo suele volver multiplicado.

Russia, China aircraft manufacturers consider joint cooperation
Russia's United Aircraft Corp. (UAC) and Commercial Aircraft Corp. of China (COMAC) are considering a joint effort to construct a short- to medium-haul widebody aircraft.
"We are discussing these plans with COMAC, doing some market analysis and researching cooperation possibilities," UAC president Mikhail Pogosyan said at the Zhuhai Air Show. The aircraft, which will target Russian and Chinese markets, will not exceed a 300-seat capacity.
Pogosyan added that UAC plans to acquire orders for the Russian regional Sukhoi Superjet 100 (SSJ100) aircraft from Chinese carriers next year.

Bombardier strengthens strategic collaboration with China’s COMAC
Canada-based Bombardier and Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) have strengthened an existing strategic collaboration to jointly develop common features for their respective CSeries and C919 aircraft.

SilkAir's order for 23 737-800s and 31 737 MAX 8s is the largest order in the airline's history and begins a fleet transition to Boeing airplanes.
"The capability of the 737s will enable us to spread our wings to even more destinations and increase capacity on existing routes," said SilkAir Chief Executive Leslie Thng.
The Next-Generation 737 and 737 MAX can fly farther than competing airplanes, enabling airlines to open new routes.

The 737 MAX is a new-engine variant of the world's best-selling airplane and builds on the strengths of today's Next-Generation 737. Navy to Launch Competition for Carrier-Based Unmanned Aircraft in 2013
After a two-year delay, the Navy expects to issue a request for proposals in 2013 for its Unmanned Carrier-Launched Surveillance and Strike (UCLASS). The goal is to have the aircraft in the fleet by 2020, said Patrick Buckley at a Nov. 9 conference on unmanned aerial systems in Springfield, Va.
The road to establishing requirements for UCLASS has been fraught with debate, with officials in a tug-of-war on how advanced UCLASS should be, given fiscal and technological constraints.
"It has never been quite clear exactly what the requirements would be for the system," said Phil Finnegan, director of corporate analysis for the Teal Group, a market research firm. "Obviously it's a struggle between the latest and most capable and affordability."

The aviation industry has welcomed the European Commission’s decision to suspend its Emissions Trading System (ETS) for flights into and out of Europe for a period of one year to allow time for ICAO to finalize a global scheme.

Nadie estaba de acuerdo con la forma en que los políticos europeos querían cobrar a las aerolineas por sus emisiones contaminantes ya que el modo no se veía justo para las aerolíneas europeas frente a las de otros países, porque se quería cobrar por emisiones realizadas fuera del espacio aéreo europeo, y sobre todo por el hecho de que ese dinero recaudado no se iba a invertir en programas medioambientales que de verdad compensansen las emisiones de óxidos de carbono por parte de los motores de los aviones. An Airbus ACJ319 with the fuel-saving Sharklet option has been ordered by a Chinese customer, in the first deal for this version from the country. The order builds on the strong Airbus corporate jet presence in greater China, where there are around 25 orders to date.
Airbus corporate jets such as the ACJ318 and ACJ319 are already in widespread service in China, with operators such as BAA Jet Management, Beijing Airlines, China Eastern Executive Aviation, Comlux Asia, Deer Jet, Hong Kong Jet and TAG Aviation.
“China is a relatively new market for corporate jets, as well as having one of the highest economic growth rates, making it a bright spot in today’s business jet market, especially at the top end where Airbus corporate jets serve with distinction,” points out Airbus Chief Operating Officer, Customers, John Leahy. “The Chinese business jet market also favours the ability to carry larger groups, for which Airbus corporate jets are especially well suited.”
Airbus’ ACJ318, ACJ319, ACJ320 and ACJ321 share a similar length and wingspan with competing large business jets, but have the widest and tallest cabin, delivering unequalled comfort, space and freedom of movement.
The wider cabin of Airbus corporate jets allows unique features such as a large circular table that converts to a square one, which is popular in cultures such as China’s because it allows the ideal arrangements for both socialising and playing games such as Mah Jong.
Airbus corporate jets also come from a good family – the world’s most modern – which means that they deliver inherently good value, with many standard features that are lacking in other business jets. These include pilot and mechanic friendly common cockpits, fly by wire controls and centralised maintenance. Other features include a richer baseline specification, extensive use of weight-saving materials such as carbonfibre, and new range-extending engine options.
More than 490 Airbus customers and operators benefit for a worldwide network of technical support and training and support centres, which includes services tailored to corporate jet users, including staff based in China.
Airbus corporate jets now also has commercial offices in both Beijing and Hong Kong.
Airbus corporate jets have won more than 170 orders to date, from companies, individuals and governments, and are flying on every continent, including Antarctica.

A national research competition dedicated to new sustainable energies in the aviation sector in China was launched at the 9th China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Zhuhai Airshow). The sponsors of this competition are EADS Innovation Works, the EADS group’s corporate research and technology network, Airbus, a leading aircraft manufacturer within the EADS Group, and ENN, a leading clean energy company based in China. Teams from research institutions all across the country are invited to participate in this nationwide competition.
Named “Join the Spirit,” this competition presents a challenge for Chinese research teams to come up with innovative concepts linked to new sustainable energies for the aviation sector in various different domains (Algae bio-fuel for aviation, Solar energy for aerospace, Energy storage for aerospace, Smart energy network, Optimization, improvement of energy efficiency etc.). Participants are given five months to work on their selected themes after which the reports can be submitted on a dedicated website: http://jointhespirit.eads.com.
A list of 5 finalists will then be selected and invited for the “grand finale” at the Airbus final assembly line factory in Tianjin and the teams will be awarded the following prizes:
- The Champions: Prize worth up to 20,000 RMB (approximately 3200 USD) plus an opportunity for project collaboration with funding up to 400,000 RMB (app. 64,000 USD)
- 1st Runner-up: a prize worth up to 10,000 RMB (approximately 1600 USD)
- 2nd Runner-up: a prize worth up to 5,000 RMB (approximately 800 USD)
- Most marketable/viable idea: a prize worth up to 1,000 RMB (approximately 160 USD)
- Most creative idea: a prize worth up to 1,000 RMB
“There is always a huge gap between the classroom and the real world. With this competition, Chinese students will have the opportunity to put into practice what they’ve learnt in their textbooks through working with a real-world challenge in new energies for the aviation market. They will thus have the chance to enhance their academic knowledge in the frame of a stimulating teamwork environment,” explains Jean Botti Chief Technical Officer of EADS.

This competition will start on 13 November 2012, and end on 31 March 2013. The list of the finalists will be published in May 2013 on the “Join the Spirit” website and the final results will be announced during the Grand Finale at the Airbus final assembly line factory in Tianjin.

Interjet signs purchase agreement for 40 A320neo
Mexican low-cost carrier and all-Airbus operator Interjet signed a purchase agreement for 40 A320neo aircraft. Interjet will announce the aircraft’s engine selection at a later date. The A320neo has over 95 percent airframe commonality making it an easy fit for Interjet’s fleet of 36 A320s. Later this month, Interjet will receive an additional A320 aircraft.
In only seven years of operations, Interjet has become a leading domestic airline in Mexico, having quickly expanded their network throughout the country and into the United States, Central America and the Caribbean. The new A320neo will support their continued network expansion and fleet renewal plans. Interjet has a backlog of 45 A320 Family aircraft, including today’s order.
“Adding the newest aircraft technology to our already young and efficient A320 fleet will allow us to operate some of the most cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly equipment available in aviation,” said Interjet Chairman Miguel Aleman Velasco.
“The A320neo will help Interjet maintain our leading position in Mexico’s airline business,” said Interjet President Miguel Alemán Magnani.
“This order solidifies an already strong partnership with one of Mexico’s leading airlines. To date, more than 8,600 Airbus A320 Family aircraft have been sold and more than 5,300 delivered to more than 350 customers and operators worldwide, making it the world’s best selling commercial jetliner ever. With proven reliability and extended servicing periods, the A320 Family has the lowest operating costs of any single-aisle aircraft. The A320neo, with almost 1,500 firm orders from more than 30 customers since its launch, is the fastest selling commercial aircraft ever and is on track to enter service from 2015.

Sukhoi Company displays its military and civil products at the international exhibition of defense technology Indodefence-2012 that was opened today in Jakarta (Indonesia). Professionals and visitors to the exhibition will be able to learn the specifications and combat capabilities of the latest super-maneuverable Su-35 fighter and two-seat Su-30MK2 fighter. Sukhoi Superjet 100 regional airliner will also be present аt the exposition of JSC „United Aircraft Corporation” (UAC) at the air show.
Indonesia is an important partner for Russia in the sphere of military-technical cooperation. At present the Indonesian Air Force has 10 „Su” — family fighters in service: five Su-27SKM and five Su-30MK2. In late 2010 a new contract was signed for the supply to Indonesia of six Su-30MK2 multi-role fighters.
Su-27SKM is a single-seat multi-role fighter. It is designed to destroy air targets in free space and on the background of the land, as well as for operations on land and sea targets with the use of guided and unguided air weapons by day and night, and in adverse weather conditions.
Su-30MK2 is a two-seat multi-role fighter. Aircraft weapon control system of the aircraft provides detection, tracking and destruction by aerial weapons of air, land and sea targets in all weather conditions, day and night. The fighter can also be used to train pilots in piloting technique and the use of aerial weapons. Presence of a second crew member reduces the load on the pilot in combat missions with the use of long-range guided weapons, night operations, and in long flights with air refueling.
The Russian-Indonesian cooperation develops also in the field of civil aviation. Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company and Indonesian Sky Aviation regional carrier signed a contract in June last year for the supply of 12 Sukhoi Superjet 100 aircraft in a basic configuration.
At the present time the process of validation of the type certificate of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 (model RRJ-95B) aircraft is going on. It permits SSJ100 exports to Indonesia and its operation by the airlines of the country without restrictions.

The implementation of the program of Su-type licensed aircraft production is going on, as well as the delivery of spare parts for previously delivered aircraft. The framework established on the basis of long-term cooperation provides for the transition in the near future to a new level of cooperation on major projects.
